He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Dr. John Thurston and Julia Corscaden Beaty; his wife Seddon; his son James; and his siblings, Terry, Jeffrey Beaty and Janet Beaty.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Lake George Association, the Lake George Land Conservancy, Hague Volunteer Fire and EMS, or the charity of your choice.
