She was predeceased by: her mother Elinor Hughes; and her sister Marcia Thomas. She is survived by: her husband Meredith Ellis; her siblings, Donna DeRosier of Hadley, Ruth Allen of Johnstown and Randy Thomas of California; her nieces and nephews, Ciara Curley (Devon Bovee), Tonya Bover, Kacey Allen, Jacob DeRosier (Bethany), Dylan Allen, Austin Bover, Sean Finnegan, Jan Allen, Wade Thomas and Joey Bovee; and also, Renee Hayes (Donald), Ann Nelson (David) and Sissy.

Visitation was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Brewer Funeral Home (24 Church St, Lake Luzerne, NY 12846). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
