She was predeceased by: her parents, Ward Bliven and Evelyn Bliven (Guller); her husband David Dexheimer; and her grandson David Swartz. She is survived by: her sons, Tom Dexheimer (Corinna) of Riverview and Doug Dexheimer of Bainbridge, NY; her grandchildren, Sarah Dexheimer of Sidney, NY, Tyler Dexheimer (Amanda) of Mount Upton, NY, Megan Pedro, Ali Pedro, Heather Frey and Jon Meara; her great grandchild Jordyn Marie; her grandchild Chris Dexheimer of Sidney, NY; her pet Mason; and her friends, Anne Mott of Bainbridge, NY and Doris Crook of Englewood, FL..
In lieu of flowers, Jean requested donations be made to Guilford Fire Department or Englewood United Methodist Church.
