He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas H. Hobbs and Therese Zurek Neal; and his sons, Tommy and Jeffrey. He is survived by: his wife Linda Romano-Hobbs (Wright); his daughters, Dr. Laura Sawyer (Brian) of Winter Haven and Melissa Chambers (Dan) of Colonie; his stepchildren, Kristine Romano (Frank Cox) of Chatham, Maria Romano (Pat Kelly) of Schodack and John J. Romano III of East Nassau; his grandchildren, Michaela, Phillip, Isabella, Brighton Sawyer, Amanda and Jacob Chambers; his stepgrandsons, Tyler, Collin Kelly and Dylan Knight; and his nephew Tommy. He is also survived by loving siblings, Sister.
