She was predeceased by: her parent Michal Przekurat; her husband Carl H. Detlefsen; and her siblings, Charles Przekurat, Joseph Przekurat, Ann "Sophie" Pomykaj, Lucille Sayers, Frances Rafferty, Helen Knapiewicz and Veronica Kaese.
She is survived by: her parent Stanislawa Zakens Przekurat; her children, Karl M. Detlefsen (Vannaka) of Pittsfield and Marguerite Dawson of Guilderland; her daughter-in-law Gail Detlefsen of Averill Park; her grandchildren, Kristopher Detlefsen (Nicola), Kara Sedgwick (Tom) and Amanda Spring (Ted); her great grandchild Luke Detlefsen; her niece Jean Deere; and her nephews, Timothy Rafferty and Bernard Kaese.
