He was predeceased by: his parents, John O'Riley and Audrey Teece O'Riley; and his siblings, Kristine Sulla and John O'Riley. He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Moran O'Riley; his children, Kaitlin E. O'Riley (Louis) of Guilderland, Bryan P. O'Riley (Hali) of Altamont and John F. "Jack" O'Riley of Guilderland; his sisters, Susan O'Riley of North Adams, MA and Lauren Sparks of Taunton, MA; his parents-in-law, Francis and Rosemary Moran; and his siblings-in-law, Rosemary Curtin (Paul), Francis Moran (Francine) and Meghan DeVito (Michael).

Steven's family respectfully request, in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made in his name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at Stjude.org.
