He was predeceased by: his parents, Selig Engel (Sol) and Anna Sandler; his wife Margaret (Peggy Stackman); and his siblings, Rose Morris (Samuel), William (Lillian) and Leo Engel (Mary).
He is survived by: his children, Robert (Linda Jean) of Albany, Raymond (Debbie) of Voorheesville, Randall (Patricia) of Murrells Inlet, SC and Linda Ann Engel of Guilderland; and his sisters-in-law, Constance Hughes and Margaret Stackman. He is also survived by grand-daughters and ten great-great grandchildren.
Robert Engel, 95 of Guilderland NY entered into eternal peace on 5/17/2020 after contracting the Covid-19 virus.
