Das (Guilderland, New York), born in Champaign, Illinois, who passed away on July 18, 2017, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his wife Basanta; his children, Puspa, Shankar (Sheila) and Surjya; his grandchildren, Rajendra Prasad, Nicole Manjari, Sanjay Prasad and Brandon Charles Das; his siblings, Prabhat Nalini, Durgesh Nandini, Mandakini and Bijoy Prasad Das; and also India.
