He was predeceased by: his parents, Matthew "Bud" and Helen Grant Hennet; and his son Matthew Robert Hennet. He is survived by: his wife Karen Brandt Hennet; his daughters, Michele Kennedy (Jason), Alisha Hennet (Bob Burnash), Kristina Hudson (Tom) and Rachel Hennet; his siblings, Beth Becker (Dan Requate), Jean Kisby (James) and John Hennet (Lisa); his grandchildren, Andrew, Stella, Eve, Robert "Bud" and Benjamin; and his niece Lexi Becker (Dmitriy Yukhvid). He is also survived by several cousins, step nieces and nephews.
In Michael's memory, donations may be made to the Capital District YMCA's Circle of Champs program, which brings joy to families who have a child with a life-threatening illness.
