He was predeceased by: his parents, Gordon Sornberger and Helen Conway Sornberger; his brother George; and his brother-in-law Jeff Van Patten. He is survived by: his wife Linda Van Patten Sornberger; his children, Kelly Wright (Matthew) of Queensbury, Kacey Sornberger of Guilderland and Brandon Sornberger of Los Angeles, CA; his grandchildren, Gwyn, Aidan, Brooklynn and Korbin; his sister Judith Eckler-Queen; and his siblings-in-law, Jay Van Patten, Jan Van Patten (Gail), Chris Van Patten (Carlene), Lisa Clark (Patrick) and Jill Van Patten.
