He was predeceased by: his parents, Jerome Stephen Preisser and Agnes Regina Campbell; and his siblings, John Preisser and Mary Preisser. He is survived by: his wife Joan Preisser (Kosiba); his children, Kirsten Jones (David), Kenneth Preisser of Charlotte, NC, Karen Ravalli (Michael) and Matthew Preisser (Sarah) of East Lansing, MI; his grandchildren, Brittany Rodrigues (Paul), Erik (Kaylie), Kyle, Alex Jones, Larson, Tara, Brooke Preisser, Michael, Caroline, Emily Ravalli, Olivia and Liam Preisser; his siblings, Jean Williams (Russell) and Joseph Preisser (Renee) of Cary, NC; and his sister-in-law Janet Preisser of Williamsburg, VA. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Madeleine Sophie Church (3500 Carman Rd, Schenectady, NY 12303). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM and at 12:00 PM at the same location.
