He was predeceased by: his parents, Etsel Townley and Myrtle Townley (Kniffen); and his siblings, Edison 'Bub" Townley, Alberta Fowler (Betty) and Patricia Lynn Townley.
He is survived by: his children, Gerald Townley Jr. (Marge) of Ravena and Linda Hall (Michael) of Guilderland; his grandchildren, Shayla Leibowitz (Shaun), Kiernan Townley (Ray Sloan), Larissa Sala (Daniel), Jarred Townley (Emily Caccam), Lindsay Hall (Joseph Kirchner), Leigha Hall (Niko Derito) and Logan Hall; and his great grandchildren, Emmy Leibowitz and Lincoln Sala.
Face coverings are required, and social distancing may limit the capacity inside the funeral home.
