We bid farewell to Gay B. Byron of Guilderland, New York, born in Germantown, New York, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on July 24, 2024 at the age of 90. Gay touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Willard Best and Katherine Fingar Best; her husband Robert Byron; her brothers, Gwynne and Granville Best; and her sister-in-law Margaret Dyer.
She is survived by: her son David Byron (Rose); her grandchildren, Christopher Byron (Jaclyn) and Kara Lake (Wayne); her great grandchildren, Jacob, Kayleigh Lake, Silas and Sullivan Byron; her brother Wendell Best (Pat); and her sisters-in-law, Marilyn and Carol Best. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
