He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis J. Legnard and Catherine Denny Legnard; his significant other Yolanda DiFabio Legnard; and his siblings, Kathleen Purcell, Joan Houlihan, Alice Smith, William, John, Edward and Robert Legnard.
He is survived by: his children, Joseph Legnard (Vera) of Ballston Lake, Maria Rancourt (Rene) of Natick, MA and Frances Bernard of Watervliet; his grandchildren, Dr. Elizabeth Legnard Detschelt (Alex), Kate Legnard Fiorilli (Joseph), Mary Legnard, Theresa Legnard, Frank J Gilchrist Bernard and Rebecca Bernard Lalli (Michael); and his close friends, Ray Ratee and Fred Caravan. He is also survived by six great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that contributions in memory of Frank be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, PO Box 1000, Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38148-0142.
