She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Black and Alice Maguire Black. She is survived by: her husband Ralph Donato Sr.; her children, Teresa (Peter Sr.), Gil and Ralph Jr. (Denise); her sisters, Mary, Mildred, Madeline and Margaret; her grandchildren, Giulia, Matthew (Kyra), Peter Jr. (Nayara) and Stephanie (Jimmy); and her great grandchild Brooklyn. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation was held on Friday, September 6th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the DeMarco-Stone Funeral Home – Rotterdam (1605 Helderberg Ave, Rotterdam, NY 12306). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, September 7th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Christ the King Church (20 Sumter Ave, Albany, NY 12203).
