He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Riggs and Ruth Riggs; his daughter Tammy; and his friend Pio Buonanno. He is survived by: his wife Jean McGuire Riggs; his son David Riggs; his siblings, Dennis Riggs (Wenxia) and Diane Killian (late Wally); his sisters-in-law, Donna Tyler Peggy (John) and Patty Hodgkinson (Seamus); and his friend Tina. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
