It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Anarita Barranca of Guilderland, New York, born in Albany, New York, who passed away on February 4, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Francis Tomasone and Carmella Nardolillo Tomasone; her spouse Augustine Barranca, Jr. (Gus); and her sisters, Angela Delehanty, Natalie Reinisch and Mary Lucas.
She is survived by: her children, Augustine (Mary Ruth), Carrie, Gwen Vielkind (Thomas), Anthony (Kristen), Michael (Susan), Diane MacNeil (Craig) and Rachel Powell (Daniel); her grandchildren, Ashley, Alyssa, Victoria, Nicholas, Brett, Matthew, Allison, Emily, Shawn, Thomas, Augustine and Ana; her great grandchildren, Mackenzie, Eli, Milo, Adriana, Gianna and Grady; her sister Gloria Burkhard; and her brother-in-law John Delehanty. She is also survived by Many nieces and nephews, cousins and old friends.
