It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lois J. Merrick (Groveland, New York), born in Hume, New York, who passed away on February 8, 2019, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her brothers, Lyle Essler and Richard Essler; her husband James; her children, Ron Merrick (Marsha) of Geneseo and Lenis Adamson (Greg) of Groveland; her grandchildren, James Merrick (Rachel) of Geneseo, Andrea Frisch of Groveland, Amanda Schultz (Doug) of Piffard, Joshua Adamson (Julie Schultz) of Groveland and Laura Adamson of Groveland; her great grandchildren, Kayla Schultz, Haley, Wyatt Adamson, Charlie and Lucy Merrick; her sister Brenda Westoven (Tom); and her parents, Robert Essler and Ethel Palmer Essler. She was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
