With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Robert Scheidt Sr. of Groveland, New York, born in Farmingdale, New Jersey, who passed away on June 16, 2020. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of John Robert Scheidt Sr. to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his wife Sara Kathleen Carman Scheidt; his brothers, Charles "Chuck" and William; his brother-in-law James Amalfa; and his parents, Charles Scheidt and Carrie Matthews Scheidt.
He is survived by: his son John Robert "Bloat" Scheidt Jr. (Nancy) of Groveland; his grandsons, John Robert Scheidt III (Jessica) of Warsaw and Emerson Dean Scheidt of Groveland; his great grandchildren, Allison Marie of John Robert, IV and Evan David Scheidt of Warsaw; and his sister Regina Eva Amalfa of Howell, NJ. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Due to COVID-19 there will be no prior calling hours. Funeral Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in John's memory may be made to the Livingston County Hospice Fund, 2 Murray Hill Dr., Mt. Morris, NY 14510.
