She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Ralph Carr; her daughter Heather M. Carr (Andy) of Mathews, NC; her stepchildren, Terri Lynn Cavigliano (Jerry) of Livonia, Tom Carr of Texas and Scott Carr (Debora) of Texas; her stepgrandchildren, Jackson Carr, Michelle, Tara and Jenna Cavigliano; her brother Ernst Ranft (Maureen) of Savannah, GA; her sister-in-law Linda Lehman of Plattsburgh; her nephews, Eric Ranft of Seattle, WA and Errol Theodore Ranft (Stephine) of Larchmont, NY; her niece Jennifer Ranft of Sterling, VA; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Duncan, Casey Jane and Jacob Ranft; her close friend Mary Patricia Schaap of Lakeville; and her parents, Ludwig Ranft and Elfriede Engel Ranft.
