Velma Rose Twigg Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Velma Rose Twigg of Groton, New York, born in Waverly, New York, who passed away on November 5, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Willard Shaffer and Florence Shaffer; and her sisters, Marlene Keene and June Scharr. She is survived by: her husband Cecil Twigg; her children, Jeffrey (Debra) of Groton, Todd (Mary) of Groton, Russell (Brenda) of Rome, PA, Bruce (Jill) of Greensville, TN and Julie Weldon (Keith) of Groton; and her sister Charlotte Tappan of Waverly, NY.. She is also survived by 22 grandchildren, 54 great-grandchildren.
