With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard M. Cody of Groton, New York, born in Johnson City, New York, who passed away on June 25, 2023 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward M. Cody and Florence M. Cody (Tracy); and his sister Rosemary C. Mott. He is survived by: his wife Alice J. Cody (Lewis); his children, Ann Cody (Dana), Richard Jr. (Cheryl) and Michael Cody (Shannon); his grandsons, John C. and Nicholas M. Cody of Cortland; his nieces, Carolyn Marra of Cincinnati, OH and Suzanne Lewis of McAllen, TX; and his nephew John Mott of Binghamton, NY. He is also survived by sisters- and brothers-in law.
