She was predeceased by: her parents, Milton Smith and Letha Faxon Smith; her husband Millard "Mike" Coit; her daughter Carol Lira; and her brother Ward "Pete" Smith.
She is survived by: her children, Randy Simons of Maine, Faye Butts (Jerry) of Cortland, LouAnne Simons of Homer, Garry Simons (Jeanette) of Cortland and Danny Simons (Rosanna Bilodeau) of Homer; and her son-in-law Joaquin Lira of Truxton. She is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
