He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Sims (Schuck); his children, Stephen Sims (Sharri) of Florence, SC, Christine Wilson (Chuck) of Knoxville, TN, Allison Randall (Logan) of Groton and Fred Portzline of Groton; his grandchildren, Skyler Sims, Erica Powell, Bridgette Stabler, Brooke, Brody and Blake Randall; his great grandchildren, Maximus, Oliver Stabler, Carlee, Parker, Sophia, Adrianna, Joslyn and Lawna Powell; and his sisters, Ann Marie Seymour (Tim) of McGraw and Lori Carroll (Brian) of Elkin, NC..
