He was predeceased by: his father Charles Shults. He is survived by: his mother Elizabeth T. "Betty" Conger (Tompkins) of Groton; his brother Michael Shults (Suzette) of Enfield; his son Curtis Shults of Cortland; his grandsons, Kai and Sylas Shults; and his nephew Dillon Shults (Emma).
