We are sad to announce that on May 3, 2020, at the age of 64, Gerrie Gavalchin (Groton, New York), born in Montgomery, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Emil J. Gavalchin and Geraldine M. Schuster Gavalchin. She is survived by: her husband Carl Batt; her daughter Samatha; and her siblings, Bette Lee Farber of Warminster, PA, John Gavalchin (Catharine) of Closter, NJ, James Gavalchin (Laura Perks) of Robbinsville, NJ and Robert Gavalchin (Monica). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Before and even through the corona virus outbreak she was donating plasma on a regular basis.
