He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Dorothy Collyer Doane; his children, Rebecca Ahart (Fred) of Roscoe, NY, Janice Doane (Don), Diane Bero (David), Susan Thomas (Bill) and David Doane, Jr. (Janet); his stepchildren, Charles, Jill Collyer of Huntington, NY, Michael, Penny Collyer, Richard and Patti Collyer; and his sisters, Marian Harvey of Naples, FL and Lucile Handleman. He was also cherished by ten grandchildren; several great-grandchildren.
