He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Metzler and Cecile Stowell Metzler; his wife Dawn L. Metzler; his daughter Julie Metzler; his granddaughter Ashley; and his brother Wayne Metzler.
He is survived by: his children, Kandy Metzler-Smith (Jamie), Tammi Metzler, Rhonda Warner (Donnie) and Daryl Metzler Jr.; his stepchildren, Carol Shaw (Leo), Bobby Habalou (Kyle), John Habalou and Michael Habalou (Nancy); and his siblings, Rhonda Bossard (Rick) and Denver Metzler. He is also survived by his many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
