She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Thurston and Margaret Hackett Thurston; her close friend Roger O. Gardner; and her grandsons, Robert Williams and Caleb Williams.
She is survived by: her sons, Glenn Williams (Kathy) of Louisville, KY, Greg Williams of Groton, NY and Douglas Williams of Syracuse, NY; her granddaughters, Rachel Williams of Fresno, CA, Jessica Bower (Richie) of Groton, NY and Amber Williams of Ithaca, NY; her great grandchildren, Thomas, Johnathan, Brennan, Kameron, Jackson, Chase, Alden, Kiryah, Bella, Aliyah and Remington; her siblings, Richard Thurston of Richford, NY, Grace Howland (Roger) of Berkshire, NY and Diane Schaffer (Bob) of Newark Valley, NY; her brother-in-law William Herrnkind of Tallahassee, FL; and also, Stan Gardner (Joni) of Boston, MA and Gary Gardner (Christine) of York, PA. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
