She was predeceased by: her brothers, Robert Van Nest, William "Keith" Van Nest and John Van Nest; and her parents, Ferguson John and Anna McDonald Van Nest.
She is survived by: her children, Sandra (Michael Holland), Jane (Steven Bassett), William Szucs (Jeanne) and John M. (Tina Szucs); her siblings, Mary Burr of Lowville, Gerald, Shirley Van Nest of Lyons Falls and Joan Skiff of Lowville; and her husband William Szucs. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren.
