She was predeceased by: her parents, Irvin Murphy and Marie Murphy (Pelletier); her former husband Charles Gaiser; her husband Jay Q. Green; her brother Irvin Murphy (Bud); her sons-in-law, Gerald Clough and Carl Rudio; and her great grandchild Maclane Harrington.
She is survived by: her daughter Florence Rudio; her grandchildren, Michele Reid (John), Jill Fronhofer (Kyle) and Steve Clough (Mary Wadsworth); her great grandchildren, Lydia and Holden Fronhofer; her sister-in-law Connie Green; her nephew Jim Green (Linda); her niece Debbie Smith (Rob); her great-nieces, Leah, Tonya and Holly; her niece Mary Green; and her great-nieces, Elizabeth Johnston and Andrea Gores.
Memorials may be made in Valerie's memory to the Greenwich-Easton Rescue Squad, the Cossayuna Fire Department, or an organization of one's choice.
