Thor Schafer Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thor Schafer (Greenwich, New York), who passed away on November 15, 2021, at the age of 52, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick P Schafer III and Mary Lou Whelden Schafer of Easton, NY.; and his nephew Zachary Tillapaugh. He is survived by: his siblings, Phillip Schafer (Kim), Cynthia Decker (Charles), Leith Schafer (Ann), David Schafer (Sherida), Mary Tillapaugh (Stuart), Fred Schafer and Sally Graziano (Mark); and his former wife Paula Burke. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
