He was predeceased by: his parents, Preston Keays and Mabel Keays (Humphrey); and his sister Barb Keays. He is survived by: his children, Danielle Keays (Brent Williams) of Greenwich and Ryan Keays (Hannah Elsworth) of Greenwich; his close friend Darlene Vanetten of Greenwich; his siblings, Daniel Keays (Diane) of Greenwich, Gerald Keays of Greenwich, Thomas Keays (Sherry) of Greenwich and Karen Robison of Greenwich; and his close friends, Tim Hartnagle and Pat Donahue. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
