Robert Battis Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert Battis of Greenwich, New York, who passed away on February 17, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Battis and Laura "Milly" Battis (Burke). He is survived by: his wife Nancy Battis; his children, Dave Battis, Leslie Battis (David) and Susan Battis (Robert); his grandchildren, Daniel Cronin, Lydia Beers and Sean Battis; his great grandchild Izabella Cronin; and his sister Marie Peckham.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 20th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Flynn Bros, Inc. Funeral Home (80 Main St, Greenwich, NY 12834). A memorial service will be held on Friday, March 21st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. The military honors will be held on Friday, March 21st 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Gerald Bh Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery (200 Duell Rd, Schuylerville, NY 12834).
