He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Almy and Katherine Almy (Spinks); his siblings, Bob, Freddie, Darlene and Charlotte; his parents-in-law, Isabelle and William Boyle; his grandchildren, Kara and Josh; and his brother-in-law Pete Relyea.
He is survived by: his wife Judith Almy (Boyle); his children, Melanie, Richard Jr., Suzanne, Christine Stout (Calvin), Thomas, Timothy (Rita), Lisa Ricci (Steven), Sherri Saddlemire (Roy), William (Tabitha), Lea Bryant (Eric), Maria Smith (Azizi) and Shane (Amanda); his sister Eileen Relyea; and his aunt Annie Spinks. He is also survived by companion "Pugsley"; 22 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; several nieces, nephews.
