He was predeceased by: his father John E. Kirk, Sr.; his brother Robert Kirk; and his nephew Jason Kirk. He is survived by: his mother Florence Livingston Kirk; his son Jared Kirk; the mother of his children Dawn Kirk; and his siblings, Peggy Stiles (Richard) of Greenwich, John Kirk (Patricia) of Greenwich, Pam Dunham (Gary) of Salem and Patty Nelson (Tracy) of Queensbury. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
