He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank A. Gates and Martha Gates (Mroczkowski); and his siblings, Doris Warmouth (Gates) and Robert Gates. He is survived by: his children, Susann Wilkinson (Michael) and Rusty Gates (Christina); his grandchildren, Kailee Wilkinson, Kenzie Wilkinson (Joseph White) and Preston Gates; his great grandchildren, Myles Wilkinson, Mia and Jay White; and his pets, Theo, Remi, Abbi, Ami, Lexi and Fat Cat.
