He is survived by: his friend Rene Benet; his wife Nancy Viscardi (Goman) of Greenwich; his daughters, Darcy Peters (Eric) of Eagle Bridge and Barbara Bates (Martin Perkins) of Easton; his grandchildren, Sierra Bates, Alexandra Wood (John), Hunter Hagadorn, Riley Hunt, Hannah Bates and Logan Peters; his great grandchildren, Emma, Kane, Ivy, Noah, Walker, Madison and Zoey; his siblings, Patrick, John Viscardi, Kathy, Rose and Theresa; and his nephew Rene Benet.
