He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Robert Kath and Ellen Kath (Harrington); his wife Eileen; his children, Jason Thomas of Saratoga, Jennifer Bruhns (Erik) of Clifton Park, Kerry Smith of Saratoga and Tyler Kath (Cate) of Dover; his grandchildren, Ben Bruhns (Jess), Dylan Lawrence Bruhns (Lacy), Dylan Riley Bruhns, Morgan Bruhns, Ethan Bruhns (Emily), Dustin Bruhns (Brianna), Ely Bruhns, Stella Bruhns, Sebastian Smith, Sylas Smith, Ayla Kath and Elyse Kath; his great grandchildren, Riley and Elsie Bruhns; his sister Margaret; his brother-in-law Tom Wieczorek of Syracuse; his cousin Susan Kath; his siblings-in-law, Marilyn Rogers (Ben) of Easton, Susan Douglas of Saratoga, Brenda Facin (Dino) of Greenwich and Glen Townsend (Heidi) of Greenwich; and his brother Paul Flood (Linda). He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
