It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joanne Brownell of Greenwich, New York, who passed away on February 2, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Scott and May Scott (Anderson); her sister-in-law Diane Scott; and her nephew Charlie Scott. She is survived by: her husband Wesley Brownell; her daughter Tammy Sweeney (Tom); her grandchildren, Caelan and Garrett; her daughter Denise Davis (Bob); her grandchildren, Michael (Seonghui), Sean, Abbi, Bryce, Keegan, Justus and Waylon; her daughter Barb Joyner (Dennis); her grandchildren, Lindsay and Peyton (Kathy); her son David Brownell (Nicole); her grandchildren, Rose and Kaydance; her great grandchildren, Grayson, Brody, Rylee and Kinsley; and her siblings, Leona Brownell (Al) and Don Scott. She is also survived by several nieces, and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Flynn Bros, Inc. Funeral Home (80 Main St, Greenwich, NY 12834).
