With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Iona McLeland of Greenwich, New York, who passed away on June 3, 2021 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Leon Louis Wattelet and Louise Mary Wattelet (LeComte); her brother Raymond Wattelet; her sister-in-law Elly Wattelet; her sister Hazel Allen; her brother-in-law Gail Allen; her nieces, Judy Stockett and Velma Lee Lawrence; her pet Jack; and her close friend Pepper.
She is survived by: her daughters, Jana Vaye McLeland and Karyn Ann Sobing (Michael); and her niece Bunny Haycock (Barry) of Herriman.
Memorial donations may be made to the Easton-Greenwich Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 84 Greenwich, NY 12834, which provided her assistance on several occasions.
