She was predeceased by: her parents, Forrest Colby and Roma Colby (McLean); her husband William Towne; and her siblings, Judy Skellie and Forrest Colby Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Kevin Towne (Lisa) of Greenwich, Karen Towne of Greenwich and Kyle Towne (Ruth) of Greenwich; her grandchildren, Jillian Towne (Michael Varraso), Colton Towne (Amber), Michael Towne (Erica), Everette Miller (Meg), Courtney Markey (Trevor), Eric Miller (Anna) and Ethan Miller; her great grandchildren, Vann Towne, Charlotte Varraso, Cordelia Towne, Weston Markey and Nolan Markey; and her sister Roma "Dae" Walsh (Mark). She is also survived by several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
