He was predeceased by: his grandfather Carl O. Degner Jr.; his parents, Carl O Degner Sr. and Dorothy; and his siblings, Carol, Judy and James.
He is survived by: his wife Virginia Tassi Degner; his children, Christopher (Mary) of Leawood, KS, Karen Coon (Jared) of New Bern, NC and Andrew (Amber) of Penn Yan, NY; his grandchildren, Amanda, Emily, Olivia and Jacob Degner; and his sisters, Lois Schug and Beverly Heimann.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made in Carl's name to the Community Hospice of Saratoga and Washington Counties, 179 Lawrence Street, Saratoga, NY 12866.
