He is survived by: his children, Tracy Ketcham, Bruce Gates and Mara Gates (Justin Farrar); his grandchildren, Evelynn Gates, Justin Farrar and Skylar Young; and his siblings, Vanessa Gates, Chuck Gates (Carmen) and Frank Gates (Barb). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
