He is survived by: his wife Debra; his children, Kelly Schettini (Justin), Cindy Hempel (Nathan), Lori McCafferty and Justin McCafferty; his grandson Woody Schettini; his sister Irene Truesdell (Skip); and his nephews, Chad Goodfellow (Amy) and Darren (late Kim). He is also survived by many cousins, other nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the First Baptist Church of Westerlo (618 NY-143, Westerlo, NY 12193). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the same location.
