He was predeceased by: his parents, George Henckel and Barbara Bonn Henckel; his wife Miriam "Mimi" Meagher Henckel; and his brother Edmond Henckel. He is survived by: his children, Robert "Bobby" Henckel Jr. (Robin Richards) and Kathleen "Cassie" Henckel Malone (Jack Malone); his grandchildren, Jessica Malone Stauffer (Marc Stauffer), Sean Malone and Kelly Malone Mann (Harold Mann); his great grandchild Jack Stauffer; his stepgranddaughters, Laura Malone Navatta and Karen Malone; and his sister-in-law Jo Meagher Nelson.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Adirondack Mountain Club in Queensbury, NY.
