He was predeceased by: his parents, Milton J. Dedie and Marjorie Winans Dedie. He is survived by: his wife Helene Ann Covel Dedie; his children, Jennifer Dedie Walker (Lee) and John Dedie (Tara); his stepchildren, Tabetha Pravato, Sharon Moore (Randy) and Jose McKay; his siblings, Robert Dedie (Karen) and Carolyn Myers (Phil); his grandchildren, Maverick Alexander Brough, Kristopher Richard Beeker, Zackarie Edward Henry Brough, Jesse-James Andrew Brough, Derek Dedie, John E. Dedie Jr., Courtney McKay, Peter Pravato, Jasmine Pravato and Makayla Pravato; and his great grandchild Kylie Jones. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
