He was predeceased by: his mother Lucy Gallo; his siblings, Lewis Pitt and Annette Grant; the mother of his children Catherine Vitale; and his former wife Bernice Rifflard.
He is survived by: his wife Ruth; his children, Renee Liseski (Joe), Norman Pitt Jr. (Laurie), Donna Hyatt (Dale), Anthony Pitt (Sherry) and Mike (Stacey); his grandchildren, Joseph Jr., Nicholas, Michelle, Thomas, Benjamin, Aaron, Anthony Jr., Andrew, Alexis, Amanda, Darien and Jaylin; his great grandchildren, Anabella, Chase, Braden and Laney; and his brothers, William Pitt, Bernard Pitt Jr. and George Pitt.
