He was predeceased by: his parents, John H. Gabrielsen and Elizabeth Gladys Gabrielsen. He is survived by: his daughter Heidi Mandato (James); his grandsons, Noah and Gunnar Mandato; his significant other Mary Huston; his sister Joan Svenningsen; and his nieces and nephews, Knut, Thor Svenningsen, Ingrid Noonan, Kirsten Tilton and Sonja Gundersen.
