He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Coogan and Margaret Coogan; his wife Agnes; his son Thomas Coogan; and his siblings, Mary Kelly and Thomas 'Buzzy Coogan.
He is survived by: his children, Bridget Huntley (Jeff), Kathleen Davis (Jeff) and John Coogan; his grandchildren, Sarah Smigel, Lynn Flannery (Dan), Dakota, Savanna, Lee Huntley, Zachary and Christina Coogan; and his brother Eugene Coogan (Judy).
John donated his body to the Albany Medical College Anatomical Gift Program. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Community Hospice of Columbia & Greene County, 47 Liberty St., Catskill, NY 12414 would be appreciated.
